Ash seems stupid to many people. He isn't. He is simpily a child, growing, and gaining experience. His Pikachu always ruins things for Team Rocket, even though it shouldn't be very strong. While gaining the experience he needs to become the greatest trainer, he is willing to give up his life or his well being for the common good. In the movie, he runs right into the path of Mew and Mewtwo's energy beams, to keep them from killing each other, and to indirectly stop the fighting. In the episode "Pikachu Re-Volts" he tries to lure Pikachu into shockiing him, so that it destroys the Drowzee Hypnosis Machine. He's doing very noble things, and should not be the target of Bashings or Taunts. He tends to give away his pokemon, which is not the smartest thing in the world, but it shows that he really cares for his pokemon, and is willing to give up part of his chance at becoming a Pokemon master for them.

Misty is very annoying to Team Rocket. At first, she has more knowlege than Ash. The only reason(Yeah, right) she follows Ash, is the bike he destroyed. She tried to use count Snorlaxes to get one to sleep, but fell asleep instead.I think counting Mereep would have been better.

 Brock is cool, but he fights against Team Rocket. It doesn't take away from his being cool. Some people think of him as a pervert but I disagree. He doesn't do perverted things, he just goes crazy at the sight of a girl. He decided to stay on Valencia Island, so that he could Help Proffesor Ivy, who is very disorganized. Brock was the advice giver of the group. He only said stupid things whenever a girl passed by him. He has passed on advice to Ash that has helped him get this far on his quest. Without Brock, Ash would be back in Pallet Town, without any pokemon at all.

I don't like Tracey, much. He is supposed to be a replacement for Brock, and in my opinion, there is no way to do that well. He is a pokemon watcher, which is a person who draws pokemon, and their attacks. He passes on wisdom, much like Brock, but he doesn't battle much, so he isn't as good at it. The advice is usually something Ash already knows too.

Gary is probably my least liked Pokemon character. He's a snob, is over-confident, and blames everything on somone else. He blamed his loss at the pokemon league on his Cheerleaders "Cheering to loud". He's the biggest Jerk on the show.

Proffessor Oak seems to always call ash and tell him the progress of his rivals when he is behind. Proffessor Oak likes food a lot, and almost always ends a call with Ash when it is done. He gives out pieces of advice every once in a while, but isn't really a main Character.

Jesse is the female member of the JJM team. There is some dispute over spelling her name: Some spell it Jesse, some Jessi, some Jessie, and many others. She tends to beat up James a lot. She considers her face perfect, and gets angry when it gets dirty. She once tried to get a Snorlax to sleep, by pretending to be it's mother. Her voice actress is Rachel Lilis. Her japanesse name is Musashi, named after Miyomoto Musashi, a great swordsman, who defeated many people, and wrote a book called The Book of five rings. It's about sword combat. His most       well known victory is against Sasaki Kojiro. Musashi killed Kojiro. Megumi Hayashibara is Musashi's voice actress (Japanesse). In Japan, Musashi's mother is known as Miyomoto. Miyomoto was a Team Rocket member who died while searching in the mountains for the elusive Mew. Myamoto was sent on this mission by Madam Boss, the then leader of the Team Rocket crime syndicate and mother of Sakaki(Giovanni). 

Despite having an elite member of a successful crime ring for a mother, Musashi's childhood was financially lacking. At times, the most delectable thing for the poor girl to eat was rolls of snow with soy sauce. Perhaps this accounts for her tiny figure. It may also be why Musashi has more restraint (sometimes) when it comes to food than her partner Kojiro.

James is the male member of the JJM team. He tends to get beat up by Jesse a lot. His voice actor is Eric Stuart, who does Brock also. His Japanesse name is Kojiro, named after Sasaki Kojiro, a swordsman.He is most well known for losing a duel to Musashi Miyomoto. James is the only son of an aristocratic family. He ran away from home as a child, driven away by a girl and the fact that he has been betrothed to her. This girl, Jessebelle (the spelling of her name is disputed), looks very much like Jesse, but wears her hair in ringlets and has a thick southern accent. Jessebelle is very strict, and uses force to get her way; she uses her Vileplume's various spores and powders, as well as a whip. Naturally, James ran away out of desparation and fear for his well-being. He tried to put a Snorlax to sleep by using Hypnosis.
